In this free replay, I answer ONE question:
Â
What actually makes a massage therapists become the go-to therapist in their area?
Â
Because when you look closely, the therapists who are recognised, recommended and well paid are rarely just “better” at massage.
They’ve simply built their business in a different way.
And it usually comes down to three key things...
Â
Â
The 3 Steps to Standing Out:
Â
1. Become known for something
Therapists who become recognised locally have usually become known for helping a particular type of client or solving a particular problem. We’ll explore how having a specialism helps people understand what you’re great at, so they remember you and think of you when someone needs help.
Â
2. Become recommended
Many therapists rely almost entirely on word of mouth…
but the therapists who become the go-to person in their area usually take a more intentional approach.
We’ll talk about how to get recommendations, so local businesses, health professionals and community connections send people your way - without you having to do anything!.
Â
3. Become well paid
The therapists who are recognised and recommended are also usually charging properly for their work.
We’ll look at how your pricing changes how clients perceive your work, and why your pricing can make or break how seriously people take you as a therapist.
Â
During the session, you’ll also discover:
• Why being good at massage isn’t enough to build a thriving practice (and what actually makes the difference)
• What makes people recommend one therapist over another, even when they offer similar treatments
• Why some therapists can charge far more than others - and still have clients happily booking
• The 9 "magic pills" that move you from “one of many” to the stand-out, sought after massage therapist.Â
Â
You’ll walk away with:
Â
• A 3-step framework for building recognition and reputation in your area
• A new way of thinking about your business that makes it easier to attract the right clients
• The confidence to price yourself differently from other therapists
You’ll understand exactly what you need to do to become the therapist people remember, recommend and pay well.
Â
Why me?
I’ve been a massage therapist for over 25 years and taught massage for more than 15 of those.
During that time I worked with hundreds of therapists and this is what I keep seeing:
Some therapists are incredibly skilled, their clients love them, and yet their diaries are half empty and they're not making the money they want.
It's nothing to do with their hands-on skills, their massage is excellent.
It's everything to do with the fact that they have no idea how to become KNOWN for what they do.
Massage training teaches you how to treat bodies. It doesn’t teach you how to build a REPUTATION.
I’ve spent the last 7 years mentoring therapists on the business side of things. Helping them stand out and attract the sort of clients who will pay them well for their work.
I also happen to have a degree in marketing, which means I’ve spent a lot of time studying how businesses stand out, become known in their area, and get people talking about them.
When you bring those two worlds together, therapy and marketing, something really interesting happens.
Therapists learn how to position themselves properly.
They understand how to build their reputation and make a name for themselves through their marketing, rather than waiting for word of mouth to make it for them (which takes YEARS)
And that changes everything.
I’ve seen therapists go from wondering where their next client is coming from… to being booked weeks in advance.
And the reason I care about this so much is pretty simple.
There are a LOT of excellent therapists out there who are the best-kept secret in their town.
And frankly, that’s really sad.
This training is about helping you stop being invisible… and start becoming the therapist people know about, talk about, and recommend.
Â
Do I need to be an experienced massage therapist for this workshop
Is this workshop about marketing on social media?
Will this help if I’m already quite busy?
What if I don't have a niche yet
Will this involve lots of marketing tactics?
Will this be useful if I'm already busy?
Is this really free?
